# `MDEx.CommentInline`

An Obsidian `%%comment%%` span, enabled with `extension: [ofm_comments: true]`.

The literal excludes delimiters. Like Obsidian, rendered output (HTML, Slack,
and Delta) omits comments, while Markdown output and the document tree (AST,
JSON, and XML) keep them. Do not store secrets in them.
